Today we planned a relaxing day to get the washing done and potter around the village. This was good because Glenn woke up not feeling too good. We started the day with a lovely call from Penny and Alison to wish me Happy Mothers' Day. Keith, Kathy and I had a walk round the village. The roses in all the gardens are beautiful. Later in the afternoon when Glenn was feeling a bit better we went for a drive and found a lovely little perched village called Brantes and drove a circle through the countryside which was so varied.
